These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Kasual app and this website, operated by [legal entity name, CNPJ and address] ("Kasual", "we"). By creating an account or using Kasual, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What Kasual is

Kasual is a dating app for adults: a digital masquerade ball where people use nicknames and avatars, have their faces protected by default and pass a liveness check before interacting.

2. Who may join

• Adults 18+ only. Age is verified at sign-up. Accounts belonging to minors are removed immediately.
• One account per person. Couple profiles are a single account with two people — and each one does their own liveness check.
• Verification is mandatory. Without a completed liveness check, a profile is not shown to others and cannot match.
• Creating accounts on behalf of others, duplicate accounts or automated accounts is forbidden.

3. Your mask

On Kasual you present yourself by nickname and avatar. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure (including your sign-in method and device unlock) and for everything that happens through it.

4. House rules (conduct)

To protect everyone, the following is forbidden:

• Leaking the ball: capturing, recording, reproducing or disclosing outside the app any content belonging to other people — photos, conversations or identity. Sharing someone's intimate content without consent is a crime under Brazilian law (law 13.718/2018) and will be reported;
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination or any form of abuse;
• Using photos that aren't yours or impersonating someone else;
• Offering, advertising or soliciting paid sexual services, or using the app for any unauthorized commercial activity;
• Any content or conduct involving minors — zero tolerance, with immediate removal and reporting to the authorities (see Child safety);
• Circumventing the app's protections (screenshot blocking, view-once media, verification) by any means;
• Violating any applicable law.

5. Content

• The content you publish remains yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, process and display that content solely to operate the service (for example, showing your profile according to the reveal mode you chose).
• You warrant that you hold the rights to what you publish and that the content does not violate these Terms.

6. Verification, moderation and reports

• We take every report seriously. We may review reported content, remove content, restrict features, suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms — including without prior notice when necessary to protect other users;
• Bans for serious violations are permanent. Returning with another account is itself a violation of these Terms;
• We cooperate with competent authorities within the limits of the law and our Privacy Policy.

7. Real-world encounters

Kasual's verification confirms a person is real — but it is not a background check and doesn't replace your judgment. In-person meetings are your decision and your responsibility. Meet in public places, tell someone you trust, and trust your instincts.

8. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Kasual up, but the service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Relevant changes to these Terms will be announced through the app; continued use after the notice counts as agreement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kasual is not liable for indirect damages arising from interactions between users inside or outside the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes liabilities that cannot be excluded under Brazilian law, including the Consumer Protection Code.

10. Termination and account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the app — the step by step is at Account deletion. Deletion removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of your domicile, as provided by consumer legislation.
